A CGI VISUAL SYSTEM FOR TOM FORD FIGUE — TRANSLATING FRAGRANCE INTO SENSORY LANGUAGE.

The Problem With Fragrance Visuals
Fragrance is the most difficult category to communicate visually. The product has no color, no form, no physical presence on screen. Yet brands must persuade consumers — through sight alone — to purchase something they have never smelled.
The conventional response is precise product photography, carefully composed scenes, and poetic copy. These approaches describe a fragrance. They do not deliver it.
The gap between description and delivery is the real design problem.
A Different Approach
Tom Ford Figue is built on contradiction: the sharp freshness of fig leaf, the soft warmth of fig flesh, and the dense sweetness of the fruit — existing simultaneously in a single composition.
Traditional photography can show the product and its ingredients. It cannot convey three distinct sensory registers at once.
CGI can.
What We Built
We constructed a visual system where every element carries sensory meaning.
The clarity of fig leaf becomes cool light and precise edges. The softness of the flesh becomes saturated color and rounded form. The density of sweetness lives in the deep violet atmosphere that surrounds everything.
Nothing is decorative. Every visual decision is a translation of a specific sensory quality.
The result is not a product image. It is a sensory environment — one that does not describe Figue, but makes you feel it.
Why CGI Changes This
CGI removes the constraint of physical reality. Light, texture, color, and form can be controlled with a precision that no studio environment allows.
For fragrance, luxury skincare, and high-end consumer brands — where perception drives purchase and visual quality directly signals brand value — this precision matters.
A project of this scope is available at a fraction of traditional production cost. Let's talk.
At Riseon, we treat visual production as a translation problem. The question is never how to show a product — it is how to make someone feel what the product is. This is what that looks like.
